DIFFERENT GARDEN, SAME FLOWERS
Different Flowers, Same Garden was created in collaboration with my sister over twenty-four hours in February 2025.
Formed through an process of exchange—passing the vessels back and forth, each of us adding alternating coils—it embodies the rhythms of kinship, reciprocity, and shared creation. The woven connection between the two speaks to the ways we support and sustain one another, how relationships are built through time, care, and interdependence. This piece reflects the strength of family and community, the act of bridging distances, and the beauty of growing together—separate yet entwined.
Exhibited at After the Break, a solo show at Honey Bones in February 2025.
Materials: midfire clay, glaze and raffia.
Sculpted and woven in Naarm by Georgia Anne.
