This handwoven bowl features beautiful shades of blue and an emu feather rim.

The raffia was sourced from a cultural weaving workshop held by the artist on Survival Day 2024. The scraps of blue raffia, many people’s attempts at learning the art of basket-weaving, was then collected by the artist and wove into this bowl.

This work will be on display at Linden New Art’s Postcard Show from 7 December - 2 February 2024. Currently NFS, or can be purchased through Linden New Art during the exhibition.

Made from hand-dyed raffia and emu feathers.
