Finding time for yourself, for self-love, for meditative practices, for culture, for connection with community – these activities all require strength in a world that vies for every second of your attention. Making process-based work like this, hand-coiled ceramics, and weavings, requires time.  It requires hours upon hours of sitting in one spot, focusing only on what is in front of you. Strength lies in doing something only for you – TAKING TIME is a collection of time, the time I dedicated to making this work and only making this work.
